What’s your dreams and missions ?

RousseauDreamIt was a humble beginning, but by launching IM’s music store I took one step forward toward my dream and one more action to accomplish the missions of my life.

Each of us is part of other people’s dreams
Do you have dreams? Well, can we live without dreams ? Certainly not. Everyone has his own desires and that makes us move forward in our life.

One cannot define a man without talking about ‘dreams’. Each choice we make in our life is always related to our desires and dreams, and we take actions to get closer to our objectives. For example, the fact that parents work hard for their children (whether they enjoy their job or not), is originated in their dream of protecting their own family and offering a comfortable life to them.

In reality, we are all part of other people’s dreams : you are a proud son or daughter of your parents. Your children dream of becoming like you. Your coworkers are counting on you and your talents. Therefore it’s important for you to have dreams and be responsible for them, since it concerns not only you but also your closest loved ones.

Each of us has his own missions in life
Thinkers know well that each of us came into the world with one or several missions. You were born to do something meaningful. Now we should find what our missions are. You may be accomplishing your missions without even knowing, but wouldn’t it be more rewarding to realise them ?

  • How can I contribute to the world (society, people, entourage) ?
  • What can I help people for ?

You can ask to yourself this type of questions to find your own missions. The scale of your missions can be small or big. But that’s not really important. What is more important is to live your life according to your missions and move toward them.
In that sense, to find your passion and talents is the first step. It helps you to accomplish your dreams and missions with pleasure. To find them, you need to listen to yourself carefully. Then you will be able to define naturally your missions and to construct your life in that way.

If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of Heaven and Earth will pause to say, “Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well” – Martin Luther King
